Why Accord Care Community?
At Accord Care Community, we believe each patient is a valued individual with unique needs, strengths, abilities and tendencies. We are dedicated to preserving those unique characteristics in each patient with a model of wellness that treats the whole person. Each patient has the right to live a lifestyle that optimizes independence and dignity. Above all, we hold tremendous respect for the wisdom, inner strength, and the special graces that come with age.
We are privileged to provide a balance of a comfortable, homelike environment, while managing the medical conditions present in chronic illnesses. Our Rehabilitation Unit is focused on patient recuperation. Our goal is for patients to return to their previous way of life. Our team of rehabilitation experts guide patients on a healing path with Patient-Centered Care Plans which include active collaboration between caregivers, physicians and families.
Whether an accident, acute illness or surgical procedure, our therapists, nurses and physicians are by your side.
Our goal is to get you back to your life, as quickly as possible, with better quality of life than before.
“They (Accord Management) answered all my questions and they keep us informed. I asked how I could help at night and on the weekends and they showed me what I could do to help his rehab.” (Former patient’s family member)”

Meet The Team
A health challenge is a disruption to a loved one’s independence, creating uncertainty and fear. Accord Care Community is an extension of our patients’ family and support network. When a loved one faces a health challenge, we are focused on returning them to independence, so they can engage once again in activities they love.
“Accord is more like family. They are never too busy to help you while you’re there.” (Former patient)
We include the family in the entire process and welcome input and involvement from family members. Accord administrators and management personnel are accessible for any questions. We share your values and concerns about the care your loved ones receive. We treat patients as family.
“I did my research. I visited some places and my brother visited others. I asked people I knew and I’ve been to many facilities myself. I asked neighbors and friends. I heard of Accord and it was close. I took a tour of the facility and we decided on Accord for my dad.” – Jeanette

Orrville Community: Meet Our Chef
Chef Sue Bolin started her career in country clubs, and her experience continued working in mom and pop restaurants and dining services in nursing homes. She has enjoyed every place that she has worked. She looked at all of them as learning experiences. She attended Columbus State for Culinary and Nutrition and has won many awards including: National Dining Excellence Award from Crandall Nutrition, Employee Recognition Award from the National Guard and several categories in the Iron Chef Competition of Wayne County for 3 years in a row. Sue’s very first nursing home was as an Executive Chef Position in Kendal of Granville and she has enjoyed working in nursing homes ever since. Sue really enjoys being in the nursing home setting and hopes to continue making a difference in the residents’ lives at Accord Care Community Orrville.
